Veggie Barbara (aka Barbara Schwartz) successfully ran Veggie Barbara's Healthy Cooking from Around the World in Manhattan before opening the service in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of The Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City (www.naturalgourmetinstitute.com), where she later became a guest chef & public class instructor. Barbara's other cooking experience includes Café Love--a vegan café in Brooklyn, Tentacion--one of the largest French catering companies in Manhattan, and private cheffing for A-list celebrities in Los Angeles. Barbara enjoys adapting ethnic cuisine to the vegetarian palate and has been a vegetarian for over twenty-five years.
